State Representative Travis Weaver issued the following statement today on the FY24 Illinois state budget:
“Finally, after four months of being in session, well-past their own self-imposed deadline, we finally received the budget from the Governor and the majority party. Republicans were left-out of budget talks, and taxpayers are completely left in the dark on how their money is being spent. They deserve better than what they received during this budget process.”
