Congratulations to the amazing folks at Peoria’s own Natural Fiber Welding (NFW) for being named a finalist for the 2024 Earthshot Prize!
The Earthshot Prize, started by Prince William, has the goal of identifying and scaling innovative solutions to the world’s greatest environmental challenges over the next decade.
A finalist in the “Build a Waste-Free World” category, NFW was selected from a pool of nearly 2,500 nominees from 139 countries.
Located in Peoria, NFW manufactures natural, biodegradable fabrics and materials to help brands and designers create environmentally friendly clothes, shoes, and other items.
