Yesterday, I joined the WTTW ‘Chicago Tonight’ Program to discuss the Chicago-area transit bailout bill that was passed during veto session last week. I believe that the people I represent, along with all of downstate Illinois, got absolutely robbed on this. The road fund split that is typically 55-45 for downstate is now 85-15 for Chicagoland, and that is not fair.
