Congratulations to the Brimfield Grade School Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams!

Congratulations to the Brimfield Grade School boys and girls cross country teams on their outstanding success this season! The Brimfield girls won the IESA Class 1A Girls Cross Country state championship on October 18 at Maxwell Park in Normal!

The Indians were led by sixth-grader Maud Nelson, who finished in third place with a time of 12:17 over the two-mile course. Brimfield finished with 55 team points, well ahead of runner-up Arlington Heights St. James (79 points).

The Brimfield boys cross country team finished in second place at the IESA Class 1A state meet at Maxwell Park! The Indians were led by eighth-grader Jensen Blundy, who finished in 10th place with a time of 11:18. Mt. Prospect St. Raymond finished in first place with 57 points, followed by Brimfield (96).

Congratulations again to both Brimfield Grade School teams for your dedication and remarkable efforts this season. We are all very proud of your accomplishments!
