Chicago Transit, Green Energy Among Key Legislative Topics During Veto Session

The first week of Veto Session wrapped up yesterday, with the second and final week scheduled for October 28-30. No major action was taken this week, but lawmakers are still considering bills related to bailing out Chicago’s transit system, more investments in green energy, and burdensome tax increases.
