There’s only 10 days left in my annual Community Clean-Up Project, which continues through Friday, May 16! I am encouraging all to participate, including classrooms in our local schools.
This project is dedicated to promoting environmental awareness by encouraging individuals to collect and properly dispose of litter. Participants are invited to document their efforts by submitting photos of themselves with trash they picked up.
Students must have parent or guardian permission to pick up trash in a location of their choosing. All students and classrooms who fill a standard kitchen-size trash bag with litter should submit a photo by e-mail to: [email protected].
Students who complete this project and submit a photo will receive a Certificate of Service from Rep. Weaver. This certificate can be used on a resume or job application!
