Unfortunately, there has been ongoing criminal activity in the building where the DMV in Wyoming currently operates. Another tenant in the building has been charged with criminal activity, which is entirely unrelated to the Secretary of State’s operations. However, due to safety concerns for staff and visitors, the Wyoming DMV was closed on March 27, 2025, and will not reopen at this location.
The Secretary of State’s Office is actively exploring alternatives for future DMV operations in Wyoming, including relocating to a different building or utilizing a mobile unit.
