This week’s Teacher Spotlight is Dr. Kelsey Clarkson, an award-winning educator at Peoria Richwoods High School. Dr. Clarkson, a Statistics, AP Statistics, and AVID (Achievement Via Individual Determination) teacher at Richwoods, is a past recipient of the Donald M. Phares Award, which is presented to the most outstanding educator in Peoria Public Schools. Here is what one of her students had to say about the impact she has made on their life:
“Dr. Clarkson is special because she cares for all of her students, and she has the ability to teach different ways to match students’ learning style. I would like to thank her so much for all her help with class and life, and I wouldn’t be here today without her.”
Thank you so much for the nomination, and thank you Dr. Clarkson for being such a great leader at Richwoods High School!
