For everyone traveling through Kewanee, IDOT has announced that road construction on Illinois Route 78 has begun and is expected to continue through November 15. Motorists are urged to exercise caution, with the work zone being from 10th Street to the north side of the BNSF Railway.
The road work will include patching, and there will be temporary daily lane closures and flaggers. Please allow for extra travel time and consider alternate routes. Please drive safely everyone!
