Recently, I had the opportunity to tour an amazing project being undertaken by the ROCHouse ministry of First United Methodist Church of Pekin!
Last month, a volunteer team from World Mission Builders, along with volunteers from the church and community, worked to frame up a duplex on North Fifth Street.
The structure, called ‘Providence Place,’ will provide housing opportunities for families in transition. The ROCHouse ministry transforms lives for Christ and provides families housing, spiritual guidance, and other support as identified by each family together with the ministry team.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this project possible. We truly are blessed to have so many members of our community eager to help those in need.
