Today’s #NOFOFriday highlights the Rural Surface Transportation Grant Program. The goal of this grant is to improve and expand surface transportation infrastructure in rural areas, which in turn will increase connectivity, improve safety, generate regional economic growth, and improve quality of life.
The awarding agency is the Department of Transportation, and the award amount is up to $780,000. Eligible applicants include state and local governments, regional transportation planning organizations, and tribal governments. The application deadline is May 6, 2024.
