Today’s #NOFOFriday Highlights the Rural eConnectivity Program. The goal of this program is to provide loans, grants, and loan/grant combinations to facilitate broadband deployment in rural areas. In facilitating the expansion of broadband services and infrastructure, the program will fuel long-term economic development and opportunities in rural America.
The awarding agency is the Department of Agriculture, and the award amount ranges from $100,000 to $25,000,000. Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, government organizations, educational institutions, non-profits, and for-profit businesses.
