I would like to introduce everyone to another new member of our growing team that will be working hard to serve the constituents of the Illinois 93rd House District!
Sarah Sweeney is our new Research Intern. Sarah is a recent graduate of Bradley University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science along with Minors in Ethics, Philosophy, and Legal Studies.
“I wanted to work in government because, while I will be attending law school in the fall, I had an amazing internship experience with a Representative last summer and really enjoyed engaging in policy work,” Sarah stated. “I wanted another opportunity to get involved in researching to help craft legislation.”
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys running, reading, and traveling. She is also an avid movie lover, with classics like Good Will Hunting, The Breakfast Club, and Rocky at the top of her list.
“I’m hoping for the opportunity to contribute to informed decision making with my research,” Sarah added.
