Last week, I had a fun and productive conversation with students from Peoria Academy!
We discussed the legislative process, what I do as a state representative, and how they can become more civically active in their communities. We even covered some pretty hard-hitting issues like the impact the rise of AI could have on Illinois’ economy and workforce.
They gave me such a warm welcome, and I was so proud to be speaking with such thoughtful, engaged, and inquisitive young leaders.
These types of events are the highlight of my job, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the invite!
