On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, I would like to recognize the great police officers and law enforcement agencies in Illinois and across the country. Thank you for all you do to keep us safe and out of harm’s way. Your job is a thankless one in many ways, but please know you are truly appreciated.
I would also like to recognize two of my colleagues, Rep. John Cabello and Rep. Dennis Tipsword, both of whom have had long and distinguished careers in law enforcement. Both John and Dennis bring firsthand knowledge of the issues our local law enforcement agencies are facing, helping the Illinois House provide them with more of the tools they need to succeed and keep our communities safe.
