I am very disappointed that the Invest in Kids Act scholarship program will be ending after this year.
We had a chance to extend the program during the recent Veto Session, but the majority party refused to bring it to the House Floor for a vote.
The program offered scholarship opportunities for thousands of Illinois students that come from lower income families. My top priority for the 2024 session will be restoring the Invest in Kids Act so that we can ensure our next generation has access to the quality education they deserve.
