Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. My name is Nick Wheeler, and I’m Rep. Weaver’s new Chief of Staff.
I’m recently married to my amazing wife, Ariela, and we love going on hikes, traveling, and trying new coffee shops and restaurants! We’re also huge hockey fans and love the Chicago Blackhawks.
Before this, I handled all of Rep. Weaver’s communications while working for the Illinois House Republicans, and am now moving over to work for him directly. You’ll see me out and about in coffee shops, at events, community meetings, and the Pekin and (soon to be) Kewanee district offices, so always feel free to come up and say hey!
