In another #NationalSmallBusinessWeek Spotlight, I’ll be introducing you to Special Kneads Bakery!
Founded in 2018, and located in Galva, IL, Special Kneads Bakery is a place where individuals with limited abilities can work, earn a living, and learn valuable life skills. Anybody who knows Margaret and Frankie Cortes knows their baked goods are made with love!
They have fresh, tasty treats, such as cinnamon rolls, and coffee cake, and their mission is to “sweeten the lives of young adults with disabilities, by providing life skills training and vocational opportunities in a warm safe environment within our community.”
